Sunday afternoon and departure.

Having shown their ability of working as part of a team the pupils moved onto activities challenging their individual skills. Pupils took part in Quad Biking and Archery (although not at the same time!).

The students have had their 'final meal' and are set for the journey back to school, with all showing high spirit, and energy.

On reflection I have to say that throughout this trip I have been pleasantly suprised by each and every pupil. There is no single, stand out pupil who deserves special mention, everyone have been absolutely fantastic!

Thanks for reading,

Mr Alexander.

Saturday night, Sunday morning

With the pupils enjoying themselves at the disco, time was given to staff to reflect on the days proceedings and predict the events of the following day to come.

After all had let of some steam, students had some free time to socialise together before lights out ready for a well earned sleep.

Suprisingly most pupils woke up fairly sharply and began to pack their bags and vacate their respective rooms ready for cleaning. After breakfast the activity groups reformed for the mornings challenges. First of the activities was the 'Jacob's Ladder' followed by the 'Big Swing' both of which tested the nerve and team work skills of everyone who took part.

The pupils have now broke for lunch and will soon be finishing off their trip at Winmarleigh Hall with the last two activities planned.

Will post news of the afternoon's events at a later time.

Saturday Afternoon, into evening

As the afternoon activities approached there was much apprehension felt amongst the group. As the afternoon held two more challenges, challenges which would test the nerve of all and the communication of each collective group.

The first of the activities was the 'Team Challenge' quickly followed by the aptly named 'Trapeze'. I can safely say that all that attempted the latter quickly found new meaning of the word scared!

The pupils have all now completed Saturday tasks successfully and are to be rewarded with a Disco, which with any luck will allow any remaining shaky legs to be hidden as dance moves.

Saturday morning

After a fairly successful sleep pupils and staff met bright and breezy ready for breakfast. Once fed and watered all made their way to the first activities of the day. Groups participated in the zip wire and the vertical challenge activities. (with varying degrees of success!)

Once the first two activities were delivered pupils broke for lunch and had some spare time before the afternoon activities began.

As soon as the afternoon activities have been completed I will update with more news.

Arrival and settling in.

After a delayed start all cases were packed and we made the short journey up the M6 to Winmarleigh Hall. Upon arrival students settled into their chosen rooms and began to familiarise themselves with their new surroundings. Once the Lead Instructor set out expectations and delivered a guided tour of the venue pupils had a small amount of free time before tea.

This evening all pupils are currenting participating in their first activity of the weekend titled 'Ambush' in which pupils work as teams to find each other within their alloted time.

Tomorrow morning the group activities start with a selection of different challenges set before pupils. The staff are hoping for a quiet night ready for the long day tomorrow, log on to find out how all got on.
